Given my first choice, I love to have a sweet tongue on my pussy, but if no one else is around my vibrator works better for me than my fingers. I'm not much good with the 69 - I like to have my attention focused on what I'm doing and have never managed to stay at the peak arousal levels needed to orgasm at the same time.

that's not accurate at all, the head can be much closer to theirs during a hand job than is possible during oral. and you can be tasting them and smelling them also with digital manipulation. and there are many opportunities to mix techniques during either. i concentrated my discussion on the moment of orgasm, and the mouth is simply not capable of providing as vigorous a physical sensation as hands at that moment.
do not forget that the mouth is for speaking also, which can be (and is for my partners and i) a very sexual act. -
